How are leads delivered to receiving agents?

When a buyer or seller completes our personality assessment, we evaluate their profile and connect them with a receiving agent whose style, coverage area, and expertise align.

What are the referral terms for active deals?

Accepted Answer

Standard referral fees are 25% of the gross commission for Buyer referrals and 30% for Seller/Listing referrals. All agreements operate under a 24-month protection period with automatic contract extensions for active purchase contracts.

What is expected of me once I receive a referral?

We prioritize exceptional client care and high accountability. We expect prompt communication, digital execution of our Broker-to-Broker Referral Agreement before meeting the client, and milestone updates (e.g., under contract, appraisal complete, clear to close) via call or text.

What is the Referral-Only Agent tier at Agent Match Lab?

Accepted Answer

This tier allows licensed real estate agents in Delaware (DE) or Tennessee (TN) to maintain an active real estate license without paying MLS fees, board dues, or active brokerage desk fees.

Question 8

Can I practice active real estate under this tier?

Accepted Answer

No. Referral-only agents are strictly non-active. You may not directly list homes, host open houses, or write purchase contracts. Your role is to refer your network to active agents and collect referral splits.

How do the math and splits work for Referral-Only Agents?

Accepted Answer

Joining costs $100/year, and Agent Match Lab takes a 15% split on incoming referral checks (you keep 85%). Example: You refer a client to an active agent who charges a 3% commission on a $400,000 home ($12,000 gross commission). You negotiate a 25% referral fee ($3,000 sent to Agent Match Lab). Agent Match Lab retains 15% ($450), and you take home $2,550.

Question 10

Who manages the paperwork for my referrals?

Accepted Answer

As the referral agent, you originate your own contacts, ensure the Broker-to-Broker Referral Agreement is executed by both brokerages online, and track the deal through settlement.
